50W single O/P PSU
The LCB50 series of enclosed AC-DC power supplies provides a reliable, low cost solution for general-purpose industrial applications that require a single low voltage DC supply. The series comprises six single-output models, offering voltages of 3.3 V, 5 V, 12 V, 15 V, 24 V and 48 V. Each model accepts a universal 88–264 Vac input and is also capable of operating from a 125–373 Vdc input. The power supplies combine high efficiency – typically 90% (48V output) at full load with a 230 Vac input – with a very low no-load power consumption of just 0.5 watt.
Designed for normal convection cooling, all LCB50 series power supplies accommodate an ambient operating temperature range of -25 to 70˚C, with linear derating to 50% output from 50˚C to 70˚C. The power output rating depends on the particular model. The 3.3 V model is rated at 33 watts, while all other models are rated at 50 watts or higher. The 24 V version of the LCB50, for example, has a 52.8 watt capability and can deliver up to 2.2 amps continuously.
LCB50 series power supplies are housed in a compact 3.9 x 3.2 inch (99.5 x 81.5 mm) fully ventilated metal enclosure with a height of just 1.4 inches (35.5 mm). All connections are made via semi-shrouded screw terminals and an LED ‘Power On’ indicator is provided. An externally accessible trim pot allows the output voltage to be adjusted by ±10%.
The power supplies are comprehensively protected against output overvoltage, overcurrent and short-circuit conditions. They carry UL/TUV 60950-1 safety approvals and have very a high calculated MTBF of 420,000 hours, making them ideal ‘fit and forget’ power solutions for long lifetime applications.
