The AGH360 series half-brick isolated DC-DC converter provides a single regulated low noise 12 Vdc output. It has a wide 2:1 input range of 36 to 75 Vdc and is designed primarily for use with standard 48 V telecommunications equipment supplies. The converter is normally used in designs with a distributed power architecture (DPA), where one or more downstream non-isolated DC-DC converters meet the needs of lower voltage semiconductor devices.

Rated at 360 watts, the AGH360 series converter can deliver up to 30 amps and accommodates a wide ambient operating temperature range of -40 to 85˚C. It has a very high efficiency of 95.5% at half load and is based on an open-frame design that is optimized for forced air or conduction cooling – an aluminium baseplate option is available for enhanced thermal performance. The conversion technology employs 145 kHz fixed frequency switching to help minimize external EMI filtering requirements.

Standard features include input remote On/Off, differential remote sense and output trim, with non-latching overvoltage and overtemperature protection. AGH360 series converters have an installed height of just 0.39 inch (10 mm), making them ideal for systems with demanding inter-board spacing requirements.
