Artesyn Embedded Technologies produces a range of power factor correction (PFC) modules with power ratings from 75 to 1,600 watts. These modules are designed to operate from an input of universal AC-mains voltage and feed one or more downstream high voltage isolated DC-DC converters, which then provide the low voltages required by the application. This modular approach provides customers with a cost-effective and efficient means of implementing high-voltage DC power distribution systems and application-specific low profile power supplies. Typical applications include transport and avionic systems.

Three Quarter Brick PFC Modules

  • Civil / Aviation supply frequency range (50 / 60 / 360-800 Hz)
  • Generates typical output of 393 Vdc

Quarter Brick PFC Modules

  • Power output of 75 watts at 0.3 amps
  • Input voltage range of 100 V to 122 V
  • Civil/Aviation supply frequency range 360-800 Hz
