36 W (10 A) Non-Isolated DC-DC Converters

The 36 W PTH05060 series of non-isolated DC-DC converters offers such advanced Point-of-Load (POL) functions as Auto-Trackā„¢ (a Texas Instruments trademark) sequencing for controlled power-up/power-down of semiconductor devices like DSPs, FPGAs, and ASICs. Delivering up to 10 A and 94% efficiency, the devices offer an input voltage range of 4.5 to 5.5 VDC and an output voltage trimmable from 0.8 to 3.6 VDC to suit semiconductor power needs. Standard features include pre-bias startup, input undervoltage lockout, remote sense, remote On/Off, auto-resetting short-circuit protection, and compliance with the Point-of-Load Alliance (POLA) standard. The devices are available in through-hole horizontal mount and surface-mount versions with a 0.62 x 0.99-inch (15.7 x 25.3 mm) footprint and an installed height of 0.35 inches (9 mm).
