moreArtesyn Embedded Power' E-Class non-isolated DC-DC converters provide world-class performance, with conversion efficiencies as high as 96% and current densities up to 140 A/in3 (8.5 A/cm3). Spanning an output current range of 5 to 30 A, the converters feature wide output voltage adjustability to accommodate a broad diversity of semiconductor power needs. Most of the models offer a choice of mounting styles to suit through-hole or surface-mount manufacturing technology and different board layout and size requirements.
All of our non-isolated DC-DC converters are intended to provide designers with a highly cost-effective means of further down-converting DC voltages. Many of the converters feature a wide range input capability and/or a wide output trim capability, which helps to simplify design-in. These attributes also provide a very flexible path for future equipment upgrades, by eliminating the need to redesign existing power architectures when voltage requirements change over time.
Typical applications include point-of-load (POL) use in systems with distributed power architectures (DPA), workstations, optical networks and wireless applications.
