MaxCore™ Hyperscale Platform

Not all applications run equally on standard servers. Some benefit from acceleration to maximize density and efficiency. The MaxCore™ Hyperscale platform is designed to bring PCI Express acceleration to hyperscale architectures such as the Dell DSS 9000 and Open Compute.  It provides 18 PCIe slots per tray to accelerate and maximize the density of applications such as OTT video, voice over LTE, c-RAN/vRAN and security. The MaxCore Hyperscale platform has up to 288 processor cores per half-width sled (576 cores per tray) and multiple 100G ingress/egress support. Also supported are a range of media transcoding and optimization PCIe cards. Virtualization techniques, paired with the latest I/O and acceleration capabilities, enable cost-effective and optimized solutions.
